WHAT SETS THE IP SCREENWRITING CONTEST AND IP SHORT FILM CONTEST APART FROM THE REST?

What sets us apart from most contests is that we are owned and operated by actual working filmmakers with such credits as “Agent Cody Banks 1 & 2, Mercy Streets, My Date with Drew, Perfect Match and most recently, the multiple award winning “Like Dandelion Dust”.  Our judges are established, industry veterans who are looking for new talent; meaning, that even if you don’t win our contest, you may still catch the eye of one of our judges with your writing or filmmaking styles.  Former judges have included; Oscar nominated screenwriter, Stephen J. Rivele (Ali, Nixon), producer Martin Brown (Moulin Rouge, Romeo & Juliet), screenwriters Ashley Edward Miller & Zack Stentz (Agent Cody Banks, Sarah Connor Chronicles), producer Clark Peterson (Monster, Scanners, Wishmaster), producer Adam Platnick (The Score, Seven Years in Tibet) and screenwriter, Alec Sokolow (Daddy Day Camp, Evan Almighty).

Stephen Rivele says of his participation, ”I believe in finding new talent, original ideas and fresh perspectives and fostering it and the IndieProducer contest enables me to do that.”
