Andre Dubus III is the author of the bestselling novel House of Sand and Fog, which was a finalist for the National Book Award (and made into an award winning film). He has received the Pushcart Prize for fiction as well as the National Magazine award for fiction, and his latest novel is a study of lives colliding on the eve of the 9/11 attacks. The main character is one of the terrorists that flew one of the planes that fateful morning, and the others are a cast of equally desperate people who connect at a Florida strip club, and get caught in the terrible race to find a missing child.
