iconoclastA team of Dutch smartypants (is the plural smartypantses?) has announced their theory for why we humans are so willing to mimic sheep in our apparent need to conform.

Well, I say, screw ‘em! I refuse to join the flock! (Though I would consider tagging along with HBO’s Entourage any day.) I keep re-reading Gregory Berns‘ book Iconoclast: A Neuroscientist Reveals How to Think Differently looking for guidance. How can I be different like all those other folks who are successfully different? Wait a minute, is that just another version of conformity? Damn, life is hard.
